Even though we are in bustling Madrid, all full of people moving, buildings, cars… we still have amazing spots to relax and watch the sunset. Take advantage of these summer evenings we still have –but soon will be gone!– to enjoy the magnificent views of our top 5 places for watching the sunset.
Temple of Debod
This is one of the top views in Madrid, so a must in your list! It’s super close to Gran Vía and Plaza de España so it’s really easy to get there. Take a look at what you see right below!
Círculo de Bellas Artes
Also a must! The rooftop of this building has amazing views, so it’s a nice place to have a nice moment there. Just keep in mind you will need to pay for entering, but tell me: aren’t these views worthy?
Retiro Park
There are several cool spots inside this graceful park located in the city center. We recommend you the views of the pond, but the Glass Palace is also worth seeing.
Madrid Río Park
This park is located close to La Latina neighborhood, and it offers great views! We love how the ‘Puente de Toledo’ illuminates and reflects over the water.
Cerro del Tío Pío
This one is not in the city center, you will need to take the public transportation to get there, but you will love the views for sure. You will see the whole city from the top of one of the hills of this park, which is also known as “Parque de las Siete Tetas” –Seven Boobs Park–.
